The above report is made possible by a united sacrificial team here and abroad.  Only in the unity of us all can the above be a reality and even increase.  Looking at the above report you see that we are busy.  We have spread across Liberia and into the neighboring countries where we train, disciple and church plant.

I, Kim Smith, am now in the USA and will be here till I return on January 28.  My phone number is 937-658-2028.  Please call if you have questions or would like to talk.

In Christ, we are filled with love and compassion.  These are manifested through action.  Our most important expression of love is sharing the gospel, evangelizing and discipling, so that the people will have eternal salvation.  But also, we reveal our love and compassion by meeting the needs of the people.

The below video, under 3 minutes, is of our dental team.  It is one example of how we manifest our love for others. We have 3 Liberians trained in tooth extraction.  As far as I know, there are 5 university trained dentists in Liberia, in a country of 4 ½ million, and they all work in the capital city.  Our 3 dentists were trained by a ministry called ITEC (itecusa.org) out of Florida.  In the South East of Liberia, a population of about 2 million, we are the only dental option.  Our team sees 20-35 patients a month and pull 25-40 teeth.  With each patient we share the gospel and give them Bible material to read.

We now have a team spying out the land in Sierra Leone.  They have been there about a month.  They are working with the Temne-Banta tribe.  The Joshua Project (Joshuaproject.net) reports that this tribe has 0.00% evangelical Christians.  They are considered a resistant unreached Muslim tribe.  We sent our team into the unknown, not knowing how they would be received, not knowing the level of risk and persecution they would encounter.  They arrived and started going from village to village openly sharing the gospel.  The reaction of the people has been astounding!!!  None of the people have been rude or resisted.  All have been curious and interested in hearing the gospel and our team is always invited back.  Our team announced a regional teaching of the Bible and the gospel in an area central to 5 villages.  315 showed up to listen.  It was an all-day event and included a meal.  The pictures below are of that meeting.  So far it appears that this is not a resistant tribe.  It seems that it is His Church that is resistant and disobedient to the command of Christ to take His gospel to the world! “The Lord has commanded us, saying, I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:47.  Several have come to Christ and are now being discipled.

They also discovered 6 amputee camps!  The past civil war committed many horrendous atrocities.  One of them was the custom of cutting off the limbs of civilians to create terror, it was effective.

The exciting news is that I now have in my possession many prosthetic hands and arms to be taken to Sierra Leone.  They were provided free from yet another partner (in4handproject.org). Yet, another example of the action of Christ in us, manifesting love and compassion, meeting needs as we share the gospel of Christ, the path of salvation.  Below is a 2 ½ minute video of a prosthetic hand we provided.  Augustine and Joe were rebel fighters, their militia was fighting against the UN peacekeepers when an RBG, rocket propelled grenade, hit the building they were in.  They barely survived. They have repented, been baptized and discipled, and are now evangelizing, discipling and church planting.

There are 5 unreached tribes in Liberia.  We now have 2 indigenous missionary teams that have relocated within 4 of the tribes. Our last team will be relocated by the first quarter of 2021. They will go into the final unreached tribe.  Our goal of having an indigenous missionary team in every unreached tribe of Liberia will be accomplished.  We also have a team in Ivory Coast training teams to go into the unreached tribes there.  Ivory Coast has 36 unreached tribes of 7 million.

Our team that is spying out the land in Sierra Leone will return the first of next year.  Our goal is that they will be sent back as a long term indigenous missionary team to the Temne-Banta tribe by the end of the first quarter of 2021.

We desire to have 3 indigenous missionary teams sent to unreached tribes by the first half of 2021.  One team to Liberia, one to Sierra Leone and one to Guinea.  We have a donor that will fund $15,000, $5,000 for each team, to get the teams established.  This will cover the cost of motorbikes, one year’s rent, mattresses, kitchen supplies, relocation of the team, etc.  Before we can send the teams, we will need $1,500 each month for each team.  $1,500 will cover the cost of the team’s living and mission expenses.  Please pray about this.  A donor, a fellowship group, a church or the monthly donations of many would meet this need.  We, His Church, have been commanded to reach the world.  This is how you can personally be involved in reaching the unreached tribes.

Wordsower Africa has become an indigenous and western missionary training and sending hub.  West Africa has 393 unreached tribes of 147 million lost souls.

Participate with us in praise and prayer:
  • Praise: We now have teams working in 5 unreached tribes (one is a temporary team in Sierra Leone)
  • Pray:  That our Lord will provide the funds to send out 3 more indigenous missionary teams to unreached tribes
  • Pray: That our Lord will send those He has chosen to unite with us that we may train and send them to the unreached tribes of West Africa.
  • Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
  • Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord's message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. 2 Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
100% of all donations go to the mission. None is used for administration. Tax-deductible receipts will be sent each January.
