Bible Institute

Purpose:

Nearly every spiritual leader in the interior of Liberia has not received the proper Bible education. Lack of time, distance from a school, and poverty keep most from being trained. These things fuel false teachings in the church. Churches practice animism, tribal rituals, and cultish practices in their worship gatherings. Another challenge the church faces is most leaders read at a third to a sixth grad level. The Bible Institute exists to end false teaching by providing Bible teaching to spiritual leaders in their environment and at their education level.

Bible Institute:

The Bible Institute is located in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh county. Classes are designed to meet the specific needs of spiritual leaders who live in the interior. There are four levels of training. Each level lasts two weeks. We do two week trainings so students can maintain their family farms while being trained. We have room for twenty-five students to sleep on campus. Others attend from within the community. Students are served three meals a day. The cost of each two-week class is five dollars per student.

Satellite Classes:

The Bible Institute offers regional classes throughout Liberia. These classes are three to four days long and are designed to train students in remote towns and villages.

Discipleship Teams:

The Bible Institute also sends discipleship teams into the towns and villages where we work. Currently we are working in over 450 locations. Students gather in small groups for discipleship training.
