The Birth of a Church:
In 2019, Julian Mason was introduced to Wordsower Liberia when he attended our 6-day Wordsower Bible Institute class in River Gee County.  He left the class passionately inspired to go and make disciples, especially in churchless communities.  He went to his head pastor and said he wanted to form an evangelistic team that would go to the nearby villages to start churches.  The pastor’s response was “no”, that it was too costly and would require too much work and that it was not the vision of his church.  So, Julian traveled to our base in Zwedru and attended all four of our Wordsower Bible Institute classes.  Upon returning home, he again humbly went to his pastor and recast the vision of going to the lost, making disciples and starting churches.  The pastor responded the same, “No” and to Julian’s great amazement the pastor told him to leave.  Respectfully, Julian left and as was taught began to conduct a Bible study in a churchless community of Jarpuville.   Wordsower Liberia helped him start the new church by having a 2-day training in the community, 58 attended.  We also showed the Jesus Film to almost 300.  75 attended the first church service. A church has been birthed!  It is called The Living Christ Mission Bible Church.  Thompson Morris one of our top field leaders will spend a month going to Julian and the other disciples we have trained in River Gee County.  He will encourage, assist and train.  Thompson started a house church several years ago.  The congregation increased and he had to put an addition on his house.  He has raised up leaders for the church and he now goes from county to county evangelizing, discipling and training pastors.

Spying out the unreached tribes:
We have two teams on mission.  We expect they will gone a month.  Their mission is to find 4 unreached tribes in Liberia: According to the Joshua Project the Maninka is 0.00% evangelical Christian, Mandingo is 0.03% evangelical Christian, Bandi is 1% evangelical Christian, the Mende is 1% evangelical Christian.  We already have a team ministering to the Vai, they are 0.00% evangelical Christian and the Gola, they too are 0.00% evangelical Christian. We have seen salvations and baptisms among the Vai and Gola tribes!  Praise God!! The video below is about our indigenous Capemont team that is living and ministering among them. We have discovered that if we show up there will be salvations and baptisms.  Our Lord has prepared people from among them. Our job is to find those prepared, evangelize, disciple and unite them into churches. The 2-minute video below is about our indigenous Capemont team that is living and ministering among them.

“You will be my witnesses…to the ends of the earth” Acts 1:8
We already have a fruitful base in Ivory Coast. Guinea and Sierra Leone, our neighbors, are being taught by us, Wordsower Africa, also.  Good News travels, it is natural. We see national boarders, God sees a river. We have had several from these countries attend our school and conferences. Those trained have returned home and are obeying the command of our Lord to: Go, make disciples, baptize and teach. They are requesting us to assist them.  The 2-minute video below is a testimony of one of our students from Sierra Leone.

New Motorbikes:
They have arrived.  We have purchased 13, much needed, new bikes.  Thank you!!! We have many essential weapons as we fight against the strongholds of Satan.  The bikes take us all over Liberia and Ivory Coast.  The 1-minute video is our thank you for the bikes.

As always, you can view all of our videos on our YouTube channel by clicking here.

Participate with us in Praise and prayer:
  • Pray: For our two spy teams that have gone out looking for four unreached Muslim tribes of Liberia that we are not working with yet.  They are on the boarders of Liberia. The boarders are the gate in which Muslims pour into this country.  I feel a God ordained urgency to have teams there.  It is in places like these where radical Islam starts.
  • Praise: Continued reports come in throughout Liberia of the lasting fruit, the harvest, that is being brought in from disciples we have trained.
  • Pray: Please pray that we will continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
  • Pray: For increased donations.  We have an indigenous missionary team ministering to 2 of the unreached tribes of Liberia.  We have 4 more unreached tribes that need indigenous teams to go to them.  Our neighbors, Sierra Leone and Guinea, are asking us to start this ministry in their country also.
100% of all donations go to the mission. None is used for administration. Tax-deductible receipts will be sent each January.
