Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of Hades
will not overcome it.” His Church is
built by Him, not man.
He goes on to say, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom
of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matt 16 :18-19. He invites us to
participate in His work of building His Church.
What a privilege to be allowed to participate, what a shame if we only
become observers.
The below pictures are of 5 congregations that will be
highlighted. They were started by
leaders after they attended our Bible Institute. They all started in houses but have outgrown
them.
The church’s name is Faith Miracle Church. It was started and is led by former students of our Bible Institute. The
walls and floor are dirt, the roof thatched. Wordsower disciples assisted in building it.
The Faith Deliverance Fellowship was also started and is led
by former students of our Bible Institute. Their building is still under construction. The roof has tarp and some metal. This week
Wordsower disciples will finish the metal roof with them.
The Evangelical Courage Free congregation has out grown the
house and has moved into the front yard.
They are now looking for a place to build their worship center. Again, this fellowship was started and is led
by former students of our Bible Institute.
Former Bible Institute students out grew their home church
so they are building this structure in Melvin’s front yard. Wordsower disciples
are assisting with the construction.
Nayanford George has graduated from our school and is on our
board. He and others started Faith
United Christian Church. They are
working on starting other house gatherings they hope will also grow into churches.
Thompson and Teressa Morris, are Wordsower trained
disciples, they started a church in their home.
They decided to put this addition on their house when the congregation
no longer fit in their house.
All those who have started these churches are Wordsower
Liberia field leaders. They are not
satisfied!! They have been fruitful in their Jerusalem and are going into
remote villages to start more churches.
“This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up,
the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first
the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the
grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” Mk
4:26-29
“He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers
are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest,
therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out
like lambs among wolves.” Lk 10:2-3. We
are the workers. We pray for more
workers. We, His Church, are commanded
to participate. Join us, participate
with us, you are invited. Don’t be an
observer be a participant.
