Going to the bank:

So, maybe, the last time you went to the bank you had to wait 15 minutes!  Terrible!!  Well going to the bank is a little different here:

Two days on a motorbike with rain, mud, wreaks, breakdowns and bruises just to get to the first bank.  Was there for two days and was able to only get ½ of our money.  Another day in car to the capital, then another day at that bank to get the other ½ of our money.  A day in car going back to the mud road and another 2 days on the mud road.  9 days to go to the bank!!  And guess what that is our standard.  Now, again, I’m in the capital.  Tomorrow I go to the national branch to try to get our money.  Below is a 2 ½ minute video clip of us on the mud road.  This trip took 12 hours just to get to the asphalt road. (In the video I said it took 10 days to get to the bank, an exaggeration, it was only 9, oops my mistake.)

The sending of teams:

While I was spending 9 days going to the bank the base was busy.  They organized and sent 12 disciples on 8 bikes to 4 counties.  They were gone for 12 days and ministered in hundreds of communities. They all left together and then separated, going to their various destinations. They regrouped in River Gee County and returned together.  Their mission was virus awareness and sharing the Gospel of our Lord that leads to salvation.  They spoke to, who knows, thousands?  Mostly they went to isolated, remote villages who only had heard of rumors and lies of the virus.

I’m reminded of the time Jesus sent out His 12 disciples in Luke 9.  It says, “When Jesus had called the Twelve together… he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick… So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.”  That is what His disciples also did here, 2,000 years later.  Our Lord’s 12, in 2020, went out, going from village to village, 2 by 2, proclaiming the Kingdom of God and warning them of the great pandemic coming.  In Luke 10, it says the disciples returned rejoicing. In this 1 ½ minute video you will see them also rejoicing as they return.
May Video Update

Rejoice and again I say rejoice:

We are dancing!! Prayers answered!  In the last newsletter I asked us to pray that we could send 2 new indigenous missionary teams to 4 resistant Muslim unreached tribes.  One individual stepped up and agreed to donate $5,000 to start the mission by purchasing motorbikes, supplies, rent and transporting the team.  Plus made the pledge to give the entire amount necessary, $1,500 a month, to fund them.  Think about it.  One individual in sacrifice and faith is sending out an indigenous missionary team to go to 2 unreached tribes.  It would be fun to be a fly on the wall at their judgement.  That is significant!  Now I’m thinking how many are also able to do what this person did.  I also think about small groups, often called house churches or cells groups etc, who could, united, accomplish the same.  Churches could do many. Small Christian fellowship that do not explode, implode.  To implode is spiritually disobedient and unhealthy.  You want your fellowship to be filled with Godly explosive passion?  Well then, put in the dynamite of obedience and sacrifice, light the match and rejoice.  And again I say rejoice!

“For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:47

He said to us, His disciples, “Therefore go, make disciples of all nations.” Matt 28:18. I don’t see an exception clause.  We cannot all go, but we can all participate.  In West Africa there are millions upon millions in 393 unreached tribes.  Wordsower Africa is a training and sending hub.  We are able to send indigenous sacrificial warriors into the Kingdom of Satan to do some shaking.  It would seem to me that our problem should be that the line of supporters would be pushing us to train teams so that they could send the teams.  But, it is not happening.  Why?

Participate with us in praise and prayer:
  • Praise: Thomas Martins, from Woodside Bible Church in Michigan, was with us 3 months.  Because of the virus his flight was canceled, he rescheduled another flight.  It was also canceled. Then he received a text saying a US Embassy evacuation flight was accepting passengers.  He got the last seat and is now back home.
  • Praise:  Last month we prayed for the funding of 2 indigenous missionary teams to be sent into 4 unreached tribes.  Well, Praise God! Funding for one team was provided.
  • Pray: For the funding of a second team to go to the last 2 unreached tribes in Liberia where we do not have an indigenous missionary team.
  • Praise: Because of the great financial crisis of America we prayed that our donations would not decrease.  Praise God there was no reduction of donations!!!
  • Pray: For our team in Ivory Coast.  The church there is so corrupt, cold and hard hearted. Also, they have 36 unreached tribes of 7 million.
  • Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
  • Pray: For increased donations.  Our neighbors, Sierra Leone and Guinea, are asking us to start this ministry in their country also. They have many unreached tribes of millions.
100% of all donations go to the mission. None is used for administration. Tax-deductible receipts will be sent each January.
