The above report is made possible by a united sacrificial team here and abroad.  Only in the unity of us all can the above be a reality and even increase.  Looking at the above report you see that we are busy.  We have spread across this country and into the neighboring countries where we train, disciple and church plant.

The Jesus film is one of our most powerful weapons for presenting the gospel.  It includes the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of our Lord Jesus.  The burial culture here is for friends and family to come together for several days of mourning.  We show the Jesus film at these wakes as everyone contemplates death and the hereafter.  Multiple confessions of salvation come from every showing.  Also, every village we have ever gone to is excited to have us show the film on the big screen.  For most this is the first such event to ever come to them, the first time to see a film on a big screen.  The whole village comes to the showing.  The resistant Muslim unreached tribe villages have all agreed for us to show.  In October we had 1,663 people view the film in 15 locations.  In December we will receive 5 more sets of equipment so we can show from each of our bases.  The video below is an example of the sacrifice we go through to show the film.

“For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”  Acts 13:47.  The command of Christ is for His Church to take His gospel of salvation to the ends of the earth, to every tribe, nation and language.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”  Mark 16:15.   We, Wordsower Africa, are committed to be the tool of our Lord to accomplish His purposes. We now have an established indigenous missionary team in Lofa County.  They are ministering among 2 resistant unreached Muslim tribes.  They have been relocated less then a month.  The Tribe they have started with is the Mandingo tribe.  According to the Joshua the Mandingo tribe is 99.97% Muslim, 0.02% evangelical Christian.  They have been to 19 Towns and villages sharing the Gospel.  Everywhere they go they are received well.  They openly share the Gospel and the people are eager to listen and receive the gospel.

We sent out a team to spy out the land in Sierra Leone among the Temne-Banta tribe.  The Joshua Project says that there are 0.00% Christians in the tribe.  Our team traveled from village to village.  To everyone’s surprise everywhere they went, 18 Villages in three weeks, they were welcomed with joy with no persecution, no resistance.  My question is where has His church been?  I discovered long ago that most of the battle is just showing up in the Holy Spirit, forgetting about fear of the unknown, fear of persecution, pain and suffering and not having love of the world.  Amos, that head of the team, has been sending reports.  Here are few things he wrote, “To remain indifferent to the challenges we face is indefensible if the goal is noble, whether or not it is realized within our lifetime is largely not relevant.   What we must do therefore is to strive, persevere and never give up... We share the vision with the villagers… We are going, going, and going into the deepest part of the Temne villages… We are in a nice village, I don’t even know my exact location… We have passion and are committed to the mission… onto the streets, market places, homes, and any gathering we can find… presenting the gospel practically, which has shocked the people… Going to the unreached wasn’t easy for us today, but with God all things are possible… The people of Mankeh, Rgbom, Sella and Pate Bana villages were surprised to see Liberians sharing the gospel with them.”

The picture below is of two men that had their hands cut off in the last civil war.  Watch the movie Blood Diamond to understand what happened in Sierra Leone.  The world has forsaken them.  They suffer and die unknown.  I will be looking for prosthetic arms and hands while in the States.  They used to have a simple one size fits all that I have used in the past with success.

The next picture, below, is of Amos sharing the gospel with a Muslim woman.  He says, “I’m presenting the gospel to this Islamic woman.  They need the gospel, we do it persuasively and through fun… but it is serious.”

In the 5 pictures, below, our team is deep in the remote Temne-Banta villages.  They teach the gospel, without books, to the illiterate.  Look closely, they use their fingers to teach the gospel.  Notice the smiles and participation of the people.  The Temne-Banta are 0.00% non-evangelical Christian, but why?  How can this be?  Why is the church not here?

Amos explains the last picture, “A Muslim turned Christian, brother Jalloh, is happily doing Bible Marking this early Sunday morning.  Be in prayer with him for our Lord to use him, and protect him from family persecution.”

Participate with us in praise and prayer:
  • Pray:  Civil unrest is again happening in Ivory Coast!  Our team there has sent the women and children to Liberia for safety.  The current president refuses to step down after his two team limit has finished.
  • Praise:  Our new indigenous missionary team in Lofa County is ministering to 2 unreached tribes
  • Pray:  Our Lord has opened the door for a team to go, to spy out a tribe in Sierra Leone.  We hope to have a base established there early in 2021.  The cost to establish a base is about $5,000 and $1,500 to operate it each month.  To start and run a base for 6 months it would cost $14,000.  Pray our Lord will provide the funds.
  • Pray: That our Lord will send those He has chosen to unite with us that we may train and send them to the unreached tribes of West Africa.
  • Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
