Dancing:

We are dancing, celebrating and filled with joy!!! Our prayers are being answered. A family has made a donation to start and fully cover our mission base in Guinea for 2 years. We prayed to start 3 new indigenous missionary bases to unreached tribes this year. Our prayers have been answered! This year we have started new bases in Gbarpolu County, in Liberia, that is going to 2 unreached tribes, a base in Sierra Leone going to the Teneme-Banta Muslim tribe and other unreached tribes. Now the last desired, and prayed for, base has been funded! It says in Luke 6:12, “Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them.  We have two of three families that will go.  Pray that our Lord will reveal to us the third family/single to go. The Guinea team will come to live with us for about 3 months, to receive specific training. During that time, they will be sent to spy out the land.  Pray that our Lord will reveal the specific unreached Muslim tribes we are to go to. Guinea is 86% unreached Muslim tribes.

We desire your participation:

The Merchant Marines of WW2 were unsung heroes. They are the ones who brought supplies, across the ocean, from America to the front-line soldiers in Europe. Many of them were older retired navy, yet they continued in passionate sacrifice. They, in proportion to their size, lost more men than any branch of service. One out of every 24 perished, 1,554 of their ships were sunk. The war could not have been won without them. We too are in war, an even more significant war, they fought to end injustice and suffering on earth, we fight for the eternal salvation of the lost. But like the Merchant Marines our war cannot be won without those sacrificing to provide us with supplies. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.” Mark 9:41. You are giving us that cup of water. Your active faith, sacrifice and love is essential in this war effort and will be rewarded.

“He must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”

It is 4:00 AM.  Our base is awake and active. The night before a team arrived, in the dark, soaked, bruised and covered in mud. They were driving our two best bikes. Immediately oil was checked and they were filled with gas, no time for cleaning or needed small repairs. Now, at 4:00 AM, two teams are putting on their loads to take the bikes back out. It is raining, lightning and thunder are observed. 12-15 hours of rain and deep mud is before them. Yet there is no reluctance, no complaining. Our passion to go to the unreached drowns out all such emotions. This is our way of life; it is common for us. But our teams are not without complaint. Their complaint is that there are not enough bikes and they are not able to also go. They are like stallions in the starting gate, ready to explode into the race, the race to reach the lost, before it is too late, “let us throw off everything that hinders… let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Hebrews 12:1. Many of our bikes are so broken down that we cannot send them out on far missions. Notice in the below pictures the mud on the bikes. In places, you can see the mud from the former trip hasn’t even dried.

Training the next generation:

The video below, less than 2 minutes, is of Henry Combs. He is one of Woodside Bible Church Global 100 interns. He is here with Max Kubik. They will be here a total of 7 months. They have come in great sacrifice. Our Wordsower Africa Boot Camp prepares those feeling called to become missionaries.

In September we had trainings in each of our Wordsower Liberia bases that are located in the heart of the unreached tribes. Each class lasted 1-week. Mixed in every class were Muslims of the local unreached tribes. Several committed to Christ and renounced the Islamic religion. We are now discipling and assisting them in their transition. The pictures below are of our classes:

Participate with us in praise and prayer:

  • Praise: A team from Woodside Bible Church, in Michigan, is coming to assist us in November
  • Praise: A team from Valley Bible Church, in California, is coming to assist us in December
  • Praise: 2 American missionary trainees are with us.  Their purpose is to be trained as missionaries.  Their desire is to go, as missionaries, to the unreached tribes with the gospel. Max Kubik and Henry Combs have completed 5 months of their 7-month commitment.
  • Praise: Our indigenous missionary team to Guinea has been completely funded for 2 years.
  • Pray: For Henry Combs, a Global 100 intern that is with us, he has kidney stones that are passing, very slowly. He is in great pain.
  • Pray: For our Lord to show us the place to send our Guinea team.
  • Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live
  • within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
  • Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord's message may continue to spread rapidly
  • and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from
  • wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2.
