The above report is made possible by a united sacrificial team here and abroad. Only in the unity
of us all can the above be a reality and even increase. We have spread across Liberia and are in
the neighboring countries where we evangelize, disciple and church plant.

“And so, Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.” Heb 13:12-14. Jesus suffered outside the gate to make us holy, enduring great, disgrace and persecution unto death. He is our example and He has commanded for us to imitate Him, to complete His mission. We, also, are to go outside the gate carrying our cross in suffering, disgrace and persecution. We have been assigned, to go, to unite the lost with our Lord. We know that the unreached tribes do not want us, nor does the kingdom of Satan want us to enter his strongholds. Our Lord’s command is to take His gospel to all tribes, not just the ones who want us. Today, after 2,000 years, it is the resistant unreached tribes, who do not want us, that remain.

Our two most powerful demonic strongholds are Animism and Islam. Animism is a religion. They believe that everything has a spirit.  They worship the spirits of the dead.  Each of the tribes and cultures have various practices and beliefs. The region of West Africa, that we are in, has a spiritual leader whose name is the “Devil”, who is also called “Santa Clause”. The spiritual leader governs the people with fear and has for centuries. Animism teaches the people how to live, performed various rituals like birth and funerals, marriages and divorce. They make sacrifices, sometimes human, to the spirits and fear curses and the power of witches.

In every Animistic town or village, that we have entered, we have presented the gospel and it has always been well received. There is not one of these communities that does not want a church. In every community we enter there are salvations and baptisms. Many of them are now being discipled. Without exception, every Animistic town where we have entered, the satanic stronghold has crumbled!

The Islamic stronghold is much harder. Two of our testimonies below are examples:

One of the toughest Muslim strongholds we had ever encountered is a town called Koneia (name changed).  We have gone into this town several times, but conflicts keep increasing. The first home that hosted us was warned never to host any Christian again. Sometime later, another man agreed to host our team but right after we left, he too was warned that if he loves his life, he should stop hosting Christians. The following week when we went to the town again. During our meeting with some of the town’s people, men came one after the other to ask us why we are having a Christian meeting in their town. We responded politely. Later an elderly woman came, she claimed that she owned the property, and told us to leave. We prayed with the people that were with us and then left. On August 24, which is a national holiday, we asked if we could have a friendly football match with them. The youth were excited, but the elders disagreed. The youth begged and insisted until finally the elders allowed us to play the game. That day was a joyful one. The girls played kickball while the boys played soccer. Our main intention was to have the opportunity to develop friendships with the youth. Many of the youth do not believe the religion of Islam. They want to become Christian but fear persecution. Please unite with us in prayer. Pray for a great revival in this region.

Maima has always spoken to us, in anger, arguing that Christianity is wrong. I told her that the Qur’an speaks about Jesus over 90 times. Then she started to attend our morning devotions, which is on our front porch. After one of our devotions, I spoke with her more about Jesus.  She said, “I have come to worship the God you serve. And today my mother put me out because I was worshipping with you. So, I’m with you and I give my life to Jesus today.”

Islam is a powerful satanic stronghold!! But there are those within that our Lord has prepared for salvation. We must fearlessly enter, even when opposed, to seek the lost, as commanded by our Lord. The Islamic communities initially resist us. But most will allow us to enter and have Bible studies with the few after continued advances.

Participate with us in praise and prayer:

  • Praise: 2 American missionary trainees are with us.  Their purpose is to be trained as missionaries.  Their desire is to go, as missionaries, to the unreached tribes with the gospel. Max Kubik and Henry Combs have completed 4 months of their 7 month commitment.
  • Pray: “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38.
  • Pray: There are 393 unreached tribes, 147 million souls, in West Africa. Pray that each person will hear the gospel. Pray that His Church will go to them in obedience.
  • Pray: Please pray for our safety as we continue to boldly and fearlessly march into and live
  • within the strongholds of Satan to, “snatch others from the fire and save them.” Jude 1:23.
  • Pray: “Finally, our friends, pray for us that the Lord's message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honor, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2.
